Every year at the beginning of hurricane season the Office staff checks if each unit has 2 good keys per unit, which is standard policy. The purpose for keeping keys at the Office is for emergencies or scheduled entry after notification to owners.
Units which have storm doors or exterior screen doors with locks must also have keys to these doors at the Office.
Keys to units are kept in a locked cabinet within a locked room. Keys are never given out to persons other than unit owners unless prior permission in writing by owner is granted. Management wishes to assure owners that your security and privacy is high priority.
Pest control technicians only use keys when an owner or tenant has requested interior pest control treatment, and technicians must sign out the keys.
If you have changed any locks for your doors please provide the Office with new keys, indicating unit number and any other description. (Out of town owners may mail their keys to 132 Waterside Drive, Hypoluxo, FL 33462 with unit number). Permanent residents may bring keys to the Office, or use the mail slot in the Office door when the Office is closed by entering from the southeast area behind Building 2.)
Failure to provide the keys to the office may necessitate breaking a lock and/or hiring a locksmith at the owner's expense.
Your cooperation is most appreciated.
